Humus?
Humaira, aka Humus, is an all-round creative, dipping her brush into the art of poetry, singing, digital art and martial arts.
She started her digital art journey during the coronavirus lockdown when she faced disownment from her family for being in an interracial relationship. She channelled this through the art of digital drawings and poetry during a time of emotional turbulence.
As well as being a well-known collaborative artist in her communities, Humus’ work has been featured in ‘When We See Ourselves’ by The Blindian Project; The Poetry Cove Magazine Vol 1, Issue 4 and Babylon Arts Exhibition.
Humus draws a lot of her inspiration from real life experiences and emotions to create relatable yet imaginative pieces.
Aside from creation, Humus works full-time and enjoys keeping active with gym and training and teaching MMA.
